Luis Sandoval

Hello everyone! I am the Assistant Retreat Coordinator at Santa Teresita. I am the oldest of 3 boys and I have many hobbies. I like to go to the movies, my favorite sport is soccer, I like to play the guitar, dance and enjoy being outdoors with nature. I am currently planning to go back to school to get my degree and license as a Physical Therapy Assistant and hope to one day make my way up to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy.  

I have been involved in Ministry since 2015 and it all started when I lived a retreat called an Encuentro that is held by the only young adult movement in the Diocese of Fresno called Encuentros de Promocion Juvenil (EPJ). Since then, I have continually taken many formation classes and have served on the team that oversees EPJ in Fresno for 4 years now and I am ending my last term as the coordinator. Since being in EPJ, I have served the Diocese of Fresno many times and have served in multiple confirmation retreats and young adult retreats.   

Seeing the Lord work and show his never-ending love to spark something in the hearts of the youth and young adults who come here to live a retreat is something amazing. That is why the staff and I work hard to create memorable and insightful experiences for all groups and ensure that they have a positive impact for all.
