Celebrating Easter as One Christian Family

The Lord has Risen! Happy Easter to all! We welcomed the Risen Christ early this morning with our annual Easter Sunrise Service followed by a festive Easter Brunch! We had over 80 people join us who both came from the local community as well as were with us on retreat.

The choir led the early risers in music from the Catholic, Baptist, and Presbyterian faith traditions representing the three faiths that had gathered together with their respective pastors:

A collection was taken, raising over $800 benefiting the Three Rivers Bread Basket, a local non-profit which distributes food to those in need. Learn more at www.threeriversstrong.com/bread-basket/.

After the service concluded, many stayed for breakfast--a delightful feast of ham, eggs, potatoes, french toast, homemade scones, muffins, quiches, and so much more! Others departed to their respective churches for Easter Service and Mass, returning to the retreat center afterwards to enjoy the Easter meal.

A wonderful way to ring in the Easter Season and celebrate the Risen Christ as one Christian Family.
